The Night Shaggy Never Came Back to Life

$6,000.00
Only 1 available

5 ft x 8 ft | Mixed Media on canvas

When I was in fourth/fifth grade, my guinea pig Shaggy died. I hadn’t dealt with death before so I begged my parents to let me keep him in a shoebox overnight to see if he’d come back to life. This is that night. I’m in my bunk bed, next to the night sky window, my air conditioner is blowing cold air, my typewriter is on my desk, and shaggy is on the ground, dead. He never came back to life, and actually his eyes turned white the next day and I was even more traumatized than ever

Measuring roughly 6 x 9 feet total (likely closer to 5×8 once wrapped on a frame), this original painting is a one-of-a-kind piece. It is signed by the artist. This original painting is created on professional, heavyweight artist canvas and is currently unwrapped and unframed. To preserve the artwork’s integrity and ensure safe delivery, it will be shipped rolled in a durable, protective tube.

This method prevents stretching stress during transit and is the preferred archival approach for large-scale fine art. Once received, the canvas can be taken to any local framer or art shop to be professionally stretched or framed to your preferred specifications.

If you need guidance on stretcher bar sizes, framing recommendations, or how to achieve the exact look shown in the mockups, I’m happy to assist after purchase.
