89th Midyear Exhibition

The 89th National Midyear Exhibition at the Butler Institute of American Art is a juried exhibition featuring selected contemporary artists from across the United States. Opening July 12, 2026, the exhibition highlights a diverse range of work in contemporary realism and fine art practices. Kayla Carlile’s hyperrealist paintings, Guardian and Murmur, will be on exhibit as part of this nationally recognized exhibition at one of the country’s historic museums dedicated exclusively to American art.
