My mom runs the Operation Christmas Child program at her church. Every year, in June, she starts collecting shoebox donations and wrapping shoeboxes in Christmas wrapping paper. It is her hyperfixation. She has a very strict system. Last year she wrapped 471 shoeboxes. The shoeboxes fill every empty corner of the house. This is what it felt like to live with them. This is a piece on Neurodivergence.
