The Day The Crust Fairy Visited 8 Times

30 × 40 inches | Oil on Canvas Panel

My little brother used to refuse to eat the crust of his sandwiches. I, being the oldest child and genius that I am, had a solution to help my mom- I invented The Crust Fairy, (long distance relative of the Tooth Fairy), and told Keyan that the Crust Fairy would leave money under his pillow everytime he ate his crust. All he had to do was leave his empty plate with the crumbs under his pillow. I think I got a little too into the role play though, because I’m pretty sure we went through a whole loaf of bread in one day, and I remember sneaking in and out of his room at least 8 times to play the fairy. My mom probably didn’t interrupt us because we were finally leaving her alone. This is a picture of the fairy leaving him money under his pillow, him and I are sitting on the floor, mom is in the doorway, Thomas the Train is hovering in the corner, legos all over the floor

This original oil painting is a one-of-a-kind piece, and is signed by the artist. Will be dry and ready to ship by the week of June 22nd.
