This original work has been juried into the Butler Institute of American Art’s prestigious 89th National Midyear Exhibition and will be on view from July 12 to August 30, 2026.

This painting is dedicated to my sons, Landon and Jack. What an honor it was to be chosen, to be gifted the divine assignment of protecting them; to be the appointed Guardian of their tender little souls.
