FROM REALISM TO MEMORY
For years, my work was focused on copying what I could see as precisely as possible.
In 2026, I became more interested in something I couldn't see, only feel: memory.
I began painting moments from my childhood, starting with loose forms, and letting my intuition and feelings finish the rest. Many of these memories feel as if they are suspended in a galaxy of stars- floating there in my subconscious, illuminated just enough to be coaxed out and unraveled on the canvas.
