“Veil” – Original Oil Painting

“Veil” is an exploration of both my underwater realism and the playful blending of two realities: the physical and spiritual realms. When I paint I often feel as though I am connected to something beyond myself, perhaps a connection to the human imagination that has existed for all of history. I spend many hours contemplating what exists beyond this life, and this painting embodies those curiosities. Do we become one with the stars? Is human really even made of anything other than the sea and stars themselves? What does it feel like when our soul transcends beyond this life? This painting is a sort of self-portrait of searching and seeking. It is best explained by one of my favorite quotes:

Measuring 36 × 48 inches, this original oil painting is a one-of-a-kind piece. It is signed by the artist and accompanied by a palette stamp certificate of authenticity.
